Award-winning Klipsch In-Ear headphones now have an On-Ear counterpart

Award-winning Klipsch In-Ear headphones now have an On-Ear counterpart

INDIANAPOLIS (October 1, 2015) — Klipsch, a leading global speaker and headphone manufacturer, today announces an expansion to its line of specialty headphones inspired by the company’s acclaimed Reference flagship series speakers. The Reference R6 and R6i On-Ear headphones join the award-winning in-ear headphone series to accommodate personal style and comfort preferences. The same advanced acoustic engineering and sonic signature that emulates the home theater experience inspired the performance, voice and design of the headphones. Their passive noise-isolation design means ambient noise is reduced with the luxuriously padded memory foam ear cups.

Reference R6 On-Ear
Engineered for powerful performances and superior comfort, the Reference R6 On-Ear headphone is available in a black finish and is compatible with any device that has a 3.5mm headphone jack. It comes complete with high-density memory foam ear cups, a one-year warranty and a carrying case. It retails for $79 (U.S. MSRP) and is available at authorized retailers and Klipsch.com now.

Reference R6i On-Ear
Reference R6i On-Ear headphone offers the same acoustic performance and comfort while offering listeners an advanced three-button remote and mic that allows for seamless control of music and phone calls on iPhone, iPod touch and iPod models. Also available in a black finish, the headphone also features high-density memory foam ear cups, a one-year warranty and a protective carrying case as well as a clothing clip for the in-line remote and mic. It retails for $99 (U.S. MSRP) and is available at authorized retailers and Klipsch.com now.

“We have taken our best-selling, award-winning, most comfortable in-ear headphones and created on-ear versions so users have options depending upon their style preference and device. We’ve been making speakers for 70 years and have infused our Reference sonic signature into these headphones so people will always have the best sound for music and music wherever they go,” noted Vlad Grodzinskiy, Senior Manager of Product Development at Klipsch.
