Laptop Theft Recovery: Portland, Oregon
We have another great recover story here in our hometown of Portland, Oregon. A customer purchased GadgetTrak at The Mac Store in Portland and installed it on her MacBook. A thief broke into their residence and stole three laptops including one with GadgetTrak software installed on it. Within a few days the device started sending images, network and location information back to the device owner, the data was handed over to the police who recognized the suspect and an arrest was made. Once presented with the evidence by the Portland Police, the suspect pled guilty to theft and was convicted.

To read more about this and other GadgetTrak recoveries visit our new recoveries page. If your device is lost or stolen we not only provide the technology to track it, but can assist you and law enforcement with the recovery, we just recently added a new feature that allows you to file a police report online through 150 different police agencies across the U.S. at the same time you activate tracking.
